Join Bark in the forest this summer! We begin and end the day at the Bark office (351 NE 18th Ave) and will carpool together to one or more locations in Mt. Hood National Forest.
*Please bring snacks, lunch, and whatever you need to be comfortable in the forest.*
Limited Mobility Beaver Hike (Kid Friendly)

The trip: Great for all abilities and age levels! Join us as we explore the Salmon river watershed with a great view of an old beaver lodge. Get an intimate look at beaver habitat, and learn about their impacts and Bark’s work to restore beaver habitat in Mt. Hood.

Logistics and accessibility: Wildwood Recreation Site is located along the Mount Hood Scenic Byway near the town of Welches, Oregon. The Cascade Streamwatch Trail is a paved, accessible, 3/4-mile paved loop that features quality educational displays, picturesque views of the Salmon River and a fish viewing window below stream level.
