Thank you for respecting our concerns!
Dear Jackie,
Thank you. Over the past seven years, we have seen your commitment to public discourse, active listening to stakeholders, and openness to new information and partnerships. We deeply admire your work towards creating a culture of respect and patience among your staff during your time on the Clackamas Ranger District. We know that you put in extra time and effort to better understand different perspectives.
In what must have been one of the most difficult situations in your tenure as Ranger, managing the Riverside fire response and roadside danger tree removal, you upheld the Forest Service's stated commitment to being responsive to public concerns and to value meaningful public involvement in the management of this forest that means so much to millions of people. Thank you for giving the incredible Clackamas River basin ecosystem time to recover!
Sincerely,
Bark and our supporters
